Our services are provided by collective resources from multiple local and international partners. Resource allocation and management on the ground are properly distributed in a collaborative effort by ICC team members and our association representatives.
Capacity Building
In collaboration with our network of partners, we focus on fostering both independence among individual associations and interdependence across our community members. How we do that is through an array of dedicated programs tailored by the community and for the community. Some of our work includes community leadership development, educational programs, various types of professional and communal training, rights-based awareness initiatives and many other community focused projects.
Legal Assistance
With our close partners at the Social Workers Society, our dedicated and fully trained legal case officers directly handle the many legal needs of our migrant communities. We additionally have partnerships with local legal firms and veteran lawyers specialized in a number of legal fields all serving the various cases migrants face, from labor rights to familial cases. Some of our work includes repatriation services, police assistance, facilitating access to justice, mediation between employers and employees, combatting trafficking and many more.
We have thankfully built a network of pro-bono lawyers who work on behalf of migrants free of charge. In other cases, we have built relationships and protocols in our robust legal aid system to alleviate costs, provide financial assistance to low-income individuals and help people navigate towards the appropriate legal route.
Humanitarian Services
As we center dignity in our community work, our humanitarian programs similarly cater to ensuring the people we serve are treated with the utmost dignity and respect. We provide programs that focus on reintegration, social counseling, food and relief assistance, medical missions and blood drives, repatriation of deceased individuals and many other initiatives.
